This is an extraction of my latest e-mail to Clubfreedom on my team's view of their new reward plan which commence last week. This e-mail was sent 2 days ago to the Marketing Director, Mr. Michael Faust and his response received this morning. Note that they have reduced the number of days from 90 to 30 before you can receive your reward invested in e-cash. I think we are moving. Please add your comments below.
Dear Michael,
Good evening, its nice to know that Clubfreedom has suddenly woken up from their slumber after we have shouted ourselves hoarse for them to do something in the face of emerging stiff competition.
Thank you for the steps taken so far, but I think in reality you have really not done anything but to make people here in Nigeria more angry with your programme.
First of all I will like to state that Nigerians are highly intelligent people; and have, as expected been reviewing your new reward plan with a view to finding how the plan will affect them positively thereby exposing the facade in your new plan.
From the very beginning you erred by raising our expectations so high and delivering very little.
My advise is that you should not have reviewed your reward in the first place, it would have been better. After all it is not a must that you review your plan if you don't want to.
Let me do a quick review of our thoughts about your new increase.
Earn money but cannot spend until after 90 days: Here we were told that we would henceforth be rewarded whenever we progress from Stage 1 (Feeder board) to Stage 2 (Main board) with $300 that you would invest for us in e-cash invest without our permission and if we have not registered with e-cash, a sum of $50 registration fee will be deducted from the said amount, meaning our investment will be based on $250 which we will not have access to until after 90 days.
Mr. Faust, I find this part very annoying; if I earn $300 for pushing myself to Stage 2, I have a right to access my fund and decide how I want to spend it. Whether I want to re-invest it in e-cash invest should be my personal decision and not yours considering all the efforts I put in it before advancing to that stage. If you must increase, please do so without any strings attached!
In doing this you cleverly withdrew the $750 travel entitled to us when we cycle the main board. Meaning that you and your company have rather than increase the cash reward have actually decreased it by $250 considering the new $300 for cycling to stage 2 and the $200 for the upline which also goes through the same process as mentioned above.
I don't know if you and your company are abreast with the latest events in online MLM world, if you don't, let me give you an insight.
Ever heard of Getaway Travel Club? A travel club selling travel vouchers; who recently increased their total package from $12,250 to $17,800 and did so progressively and surprisingly without any word to it members about what they were about to do.
The result was a sweet shock. 45.3% unexpected increase without having to strain your brains about their intentions.
Yours is a complete contrast; with victually no increase at all and too much noisy policy stories.
You claimed before the D-day that you have tested the new reward plan and people were happy with it. I challenge you to provide real evidence to that claim, because nobody I imagine in his or her right senses who is abreast with current MLM events will support such a saddistic plan.
Nigerians are tired of your schemes, notorious policies and your regular carrot and stick approach to important issues. Your new plan have finally succeeded in spoilting sales for us here big time.
We would appreciate it if you just leave us the way we are and stop annoying us with your see through cunning tricks.
You know what to do if you sincerely want to make us happy and if you don't I will tell you, try and beat Getaway club's current reward plan, please don't dictate to us how to spend our hard earned money and finally, pay us our cash reward promptly whenever we cycle out without unneccessary delays in verifications and other boring stories- Till then to us you have succeeded in doing nothing.

Hi Samuel,
Firstly Clubfreedom is NOT Getaway and you are comparing apples with oranges.
Clubfreedom is a 2 board structure with 4 levels per board and Getaway is a 4 board structure with 3 levels.
They work differently and Getaway has more total levels to go through which means there is MORE money to offer at the top but LESS people will ever earn those rewards. Getaway is counting on that because that is the onlyway they can throw so much money at the rewards. They are counting on massive breakage of unpaid commissions and they are running into all the same challenges Clubfreedom experienced and quickly copying every solution we came up with as well.
It is easy to be a copy cat and just watch the front runner and then enduce people with big rewards without telling the full story. They had the advantange of sitting back and watching our success and then walking in and capitalising on all on the suppliers and relationships we build up with a considerable amount of money and time.
As for paying less rewards in Clubfreedom we are actually paying MORE. You did not take into account that there are $4000 more rewards being paid out (8 x $300+$200) and we only sacrificed $750 out of each Main board payout.
We also listened to members and reduced the 90 day period to 30 days to invest the new rewards so members can access the rewards quicker.
It was interesting to see many members earning hundreds, even thousands of dollars in ecash-invest through the uni-level program in month 1 which can be earned again and again EVEN if everyone NEVER invested any more money!
Yes, I am very up on MLM philosophy. I build large networks for 17 years, had 4 years in upper management for one of the largest MLMs in the industry and also ran a MLM consulting companay for 5 years launching a number of companies and helping leaders expand their business.
I know what it is like to be a member and also remember the times when I ONLY saw things through the members eyes with NO thought to what was going on at corporate. Just give me what I want and I don't care how you do it.
Having had an opportunity to sit on both sides of the fence I have come to understand you can't always please members all the time. Both the company and the members MUST BOTH WIN because they are co-dependent upon each other.
And sometimes the company gets it wrong (and so do members too) and you have to simply admit that, move forward and get on with it.
Samuel, we know that the majority of our members are highly intelligent, capable leaders and no one is trying to pull the wool over the eyes. If would help some times if they stopped seeing us as the enemy and start working us and communicating with us in a way that produces win-win outcomes.
I will be coming to Nigerian in January to do events and hope you will keep an open mind, take time to understand why we do what we do, and see that I am passionately committed to seeing members succeed.
